Need more info: You do not say which vaccine she received and when. My advice would be administration of rabies Immune Globulin (RIG) plus vaccine which are highly effective in preventing human rabies following exposure. Since this disease is virtually 100% fatal it is always better to be safe rather than sorry. Best wishes for her continued good health.

About 20 years ago I was bitten by a dog and received the full post exposure rabies vaccine. 1 year and 11 months ago I had contact with a bat and received the two dose post exposure rabies vaccine. Well, I recently may have had contact with a bat again
