Hospitalized 9 days now with pancreatitis. yesterday started feeding me with a ng tube and am unable to tolerate it. what's the next step up from a ng tube?

Pancreatitis: Most patients with acute pancreatitis are eating,first liquids and then soft solids, well before 9 days unless there are complicating factors present causing ongoing inflammation,abscess,or obstruction. Your hospital physician,who knows all the facts, is obviously best qualified to answer your question. You can also receive nutrition with certain substances given through an IV.
