Occasionally: Pancreatitis is a vascular process closing off small branches of splenic artery to pancreas. First noted in children at Hopkins getting steroids for first time to treat renal failure. Most found to have proliferative vascular endarteritis. Head lesions rarely extend to artery by block CD. Body lesions may infliltrate vessels and induce pancratitis.
