Glaucoma: Would get a second opinion as 17 is not that high . How are you doing on visual filed testing? is it normal or showing evidence of glaucoma effects? Though usually above 20 is a concern, there is an entity called normal tension glaucoma where you can have damage at normal optic pressures. F/U with second opinion and discuss normal pressure glaucoma and visual field defects with your doctor.
