Laser to angle: The angle of the eye is the area through which the normal internal fluid of the eye, exits the eye continuously. Glaucoma is when this area becomes restricted and the pressure in the eye has to elevate to overcome this. Laser is used to treat this area to increase the outflow and has good success although sometimes the effect wears off after a few years.

Various: There are various laser options to treat glaucoma. Narrow angle glaucoma is treatment by laser in the majority of cases, and if successful, opens up the angles. Open angle glaucoma can be treated with alt or slt to lower intraocular pressures or replace existing glaucoma eye drops.
