Entry Point: I would ask your MD which approach he is planning on using - vaginal or abdominal. Express your concerns about damage to the hymen. Abdominal approach is a small incision through the skin of your stomach to allow the tubing to enter inside you and look at your ovary. This allows the MD to perform surgery using a small incision. This route would not affect your hymen.
