It depends: There are a number of ways to remove an ovarian cyst. Today, the cyst is usually removed using a laparoscope. If this is the method used, you could probably return to work on monday, but i wouldnot lift anything over 10 lbs for a couple of weeks. If a slightly larger incision is made, recovery can take 2 to 6 weeks, but at your age, i would guess the lesser time.
