I burned the sole of my foot with a charcoal. infected with 12-hours - antibiotics. now the joint on top of my foot hurts. should i go back to doctor?

Watch Closely.: It takes time for antibiotics to work, and if you have only been on them for 12 hours, or so it seems, you may need more time. Calling the doctor, and at least relaying the new development may not be a bad idea, but don't be surprised if you are told to give it another day or two. There is a possibility that the new pain could be due to the foot compensating from the initial burn.
