Clindamycin diarrhea: Clindamycin often causes diarrhea, usually not serious. It probably will clear up on its own. However, sometimes clindamycin triggers a serious version caused by a bacteria called Clostridium difficile, which requires its own antibiotic treatment. if diarrhea is severe, bloody, or if you have abdominal cramps, contact your doctor right away. Also do so if any diarrhea continues a few more days.
