Advice for anyone!: If you eat to excess, regardless of whether you take lithium or not, you could get severe cramping. And, depending on what you eat, particularly if too much of something you tolerate poorly, you can also get diarrhea.

No: Lithium has side effects but most people don't have problems unless they become toxic. Follow up with your doctor sooner if you experience symptoms like confusion, tremor, abdominal pain, etc. or go to ER. Then your blood level for lithium should be checked. Don't worry unless you experience symptoms. Eating too much can give you abdominal pain unrelated to lithium.
