That should be check: good idea to return to your doctor, pain is expected but if there is something new about it then a recheck is reasonable.

Pain is expected: We don't know how long ago you had the fracture and had the surgery. It is not unusual to have pain for few days after surgery and with ambulation and Physical Therapy .But if the pain is too bad and getting worse instead of getting better,then get it checked by your surgeon and he / she will examine and may take an XRay to see if everything as alright as expected .

Pain in leg: This is not unheard of. Pain is common. If you feel its too much then I would have a talk with the surgeon.
