Not a problem: It is very common for children of this age to continue to walk on their toes without any problem. A good physical exam from a foot and ankle specialist will let you know if there are any bone or tendon abnormalities contributing to this. Many children have a tight calf muscle and feel more comfortable walking on their toes but have no other medical problems that need to be treated.

Toe walking: enen though toe walking can be of benign etiology, however a Neurology consult is valuable as it can rule out neurogenic reasons behind it.
