I've been reduced on my meds of sertraline as i'm being put on a mood stabiliser as they think i have bipolar is it normal to have severe mood swings?

Not normal: Severe mood swings are not normal. If you have bipolar disorder, they can be worsened by an antidepressant, unless you have a mood stabilizer first.
