Be seen: I would not hesitate to be seen and fully evaluated for the cause. Some patients with scoliosis can have peri-scapular pain related to an associated asymmetric trunk rotation (rib "hump"). Others can have a muscular pain along the convexity of the curve as they are at a mechanical disadvantage try to hold the spine straight. Still others may have a pinched nerve.
