Stitches: how old is your son? Depending on age, he should be able to tell you if it is pain or itching. When skin healing occurs, itching can often be a symptom. More information is needed to make an accurate assessment. Where are the sutures? An examination would be able to determine if there is an infection starting or if it is normal healing skin after sutures.
