I visited a doctor and was prescribed paracetamol , antibiotic and mupirocin oitment. will it help in curing boil? is there anything else i can do? it pains and at times very hard!

Heat and drain maybe: Frequently a boil might need to be drained with a simple incision. Antibiotics will not penetrate the area of puss collection well. It looks like this was not your case at the time. Possibly the treatment you have now will take care of it. Also applying warm compress over it may help it also. There are other"home remedies"described"out there' but none that for sure work as far as I know.

BOIL HELP: BE PATIENT UNTIL THE ANTIBIOTIC KICKS IN. I DO NOT KNOW HOW LONG YOU HAVE HAD THIS BOIL, BUT IT ITS NOT MUCH BETTER AFTER A WEEK, CALL YOUR DOCTOR AGAIN. BEST LUCK
