9 years old daughter was given antibiotics for eye stye for 7 days and now doctor has given her mupirocin ointment usp 2% but the label says avoid contact with eyes. should i really use it on her eye lid?

although mupirocin should be safe as long as it doesn't get in to the eye { globe }, I might suggest that you see an ophthalmologist for definitive treatment of the stye, esp if oral antibiotics have failed.
