I have 2 large, oval masses right above my pelvic in my back. they are painful to the touch and get the size of baseballs. are they lymphnodes?

On the back?: If the lumps are in your lower back in the muscles above the hip bones then it is not likely lymph nodes - these would be muscle spasms. If it is in the front groin area then that is where the lymph nodes are located.
