MRI Is Pretty Good!!: I suspect there were enough ambiguities on the ultrasound to justify more clarification via an MRI, which would give more definitive detail. But really, you should ask the doctor(s) who ordered the MRI.There may also be something else going on besides the question of twins. Sometimes a much smaller twin will catch-up in size.Maybe they suspect a problem

Mri is very good: ultrasound images are much murkier. I don't think they can be wrong on this.
