I have ibs but nothing works for me. i purchased 25 phenobarbital pills (100 mg each). can i use this for the pain of ibs?

Does not work: Phenobarbital is a sedative and can only put you to sleep and drowsy during daytime.. It is often used for convulsions also. It does not work for IBS. Please talk to your doctor to try some of the newer medicines and see if they work. IBS is a difficult condition to treat and often requires trial of different medicines to find out which one works the best for you. YUo need to have patience.
