Lesion: Any lesion that has not resolved on its own in a few weeks should be evaluated. Call your dentist for an appointment.

An Inconvenience: If you have any spot on your soft palate and it does not clear in 3-4 weeks, see your dentist or PCP and get a professional examination and opinion. Obviously an inconvenience, but it could save you a lot of trouble. Take care.

Can't say: Need to evaluate to be sure. Best to see the Dentist to examine and give you an accurate diagnosis. The grainy aspect makes it interesting and possibly different than an area of pigmentation. Good Luck.

Probably not, but...: Your grainy spot is probably nothing, as it moves freely, but to be sure it would be best to have a dentist or oral surgeon evaluate it. Better safe than sorry!
