It depends: Laser treatments of the retina to prevent retinal detachment may create small blind spots in vision, but these are not visible as a spot in your vision. If the spot moves when you move your eye, then you have a "floater". Your ophthalmologist can examine you to determine if what you have is normal after this procedure.
