Please can i find out , if known, when a person dies, is it protocol that the body is weighed , does the body lose weight after death . ?

No such protocol: When a person has died, we stop all medical interventions. I am not aware of anyone doing what you have indicated. There is no sense in doing weight checks at that stage. There is not expected to be any further weight changes once a person is dead.
