I have a hard but kinda soft lump in my left ankle, its been there for months and is painful. i have had xrays in the er and they say its fine not broke. now the pain is going up my shin. what is wrong with this picture?

Nothing to see here.: The picture is crystal clear. You need to have the ankle examined by a foot /ankle specialist. Then a decision can be reached as to your options. More than likely, if the darn thing hurts, then cut it out.
