Is namenda (memantine) a valid treatment for neuropathy that doesn't respond to traditional meds? i have small fiber neuropathy & doc recommended this.

NOT AN INDICATION: I cannot say that I have ever heard of this application and it is not a known FDA recommendation so insurance will most likely not cover the prescription. Other medications for neuropathy like gabapentin or Lyrica (pregabalin).
