Double dose then dr: You can either double the dose (i.e. 20mg -> 40mg)) or frequency (1x/day -> 2x/day) or add an H2 blocker if taking a PPI. If on an H2 blocker, then add a PPI. Make sure nor eating before lying down, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy/fatty foods, as well as nsaids. If no relief wi 1wk, see your clinician to rule out Peptic ulcer, more severe GERD or other cause. Take Care!
