Botox Relaxes Muscle: Botox relaxes muscles under skin to reduce appearance of wrinkles. Peels are usually acid-based products that help resurface the skin to even tone/texture of skin, reduce appearance of fine lines and even improve chronic skin conditions like acne.

Several: For someone yor age usually Lactic Acid or glycolic acid and somersault jessners( a mixed) peel is used. It can be combined with a medical microdermabrasion depending on the fragility of you skin. Peels help you entire face, tone and quality and fine wrinkles. Botox should be reserved for your forehead and crows feet area in most cases. A good medical esthetician can give you good advice and plan.

Combinations.....: Chemical and laser peels and skin care with injectables work better in combination. There is a limit however after which things can look pretty scary. Get professional input after a good examination with an experienced doctor.

Peels and Botox: Botox and peels do different things. Botox relaxes muscles to smooth wrinkles that are present when the face is in motion. Chemical peels, depending on the depth, remove a certain portion of the skin surface. Superficial peels just freshen up skin and give it a glow. Medium depth peels can help remove small superficial wrinkles but run the risk of pigmentation changes and possible scarring.

Very different: Botox is best to relax tense upper facial muscles of the forehead, between the eyebrows and the crows feet. While chemical peels are suited for the outer facial skin. They, peels, do not effect the underlying muscles. Hence, Botox and peels vary in there overall effects. www.artofplasticsurgery.com.
