Do you have to be a doctor or a nurse to go on a botox/dermal fillers training course?

Yes or PA: These courses are generally limited to those that may be allowed to inject which may be regulated by individual state boards but this usually applies to physicians, nurses, and physician assistants.

Usually: Most of these training courses will not allow those without the appropriate degrees/certifications/education to even attend. Depending upon your state, physicians, physician assistants, rns, lpns, and arnps are allowed to attend and perform these injections.

No: No, you don't have to be a doctor or a nurse to receive training. However, only doctors, nurses, and physician assistants can perform these procedures. So unless you're doing it for a purely educational purposes, it would be a waste of your time and money to go through the training courses.

Depends: It's not illegal to get education. Using that education is regulated by each state. You might be able to find a course that will let you attend and listen, but you probably won't find a course that will let you stick a needle in a person with or without Botox in the needle.
