Bug bite treatment: Use a cold compress to help reduce the swelling. Taking Benadryl and another histamine blocker like omeprazole can also lessen the bite affects. Most bites by unseen spiders end well with simple care. But also watch for fevers, infection at the site, joint pains, and overall worsening. Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain.
