If you don't feel it: Is gout but your doc does you can definatively confirm by "taping the joint". You don't say what "gout meds" were given to you.... I would see either a rheumatologist or orthopedist.

Gout unlikely: You are young enough to eliminate gout. That is the area where we consider tendonitis or bone pain.Since the area hurts so I am more inclined to consider tendon as the source. Ask you physician to consider tendonitis.

Left forearm is swelling, warm, and tender. When straightened the pain comes from bicep down to wrist along the vein.
