i have a slight discomfort in my lower right abdomen followed by blood in the stool. this just happened to me 3x in the last 4mos. i don't have frequent bowel movements and my stool is smaller. an x-ray showed that i am not constipated. it is important to

Blood in stool: Blood in stool is a abnormal and must be explained especially since it occurred three times. It may simply be due to hemorrhoids but could be caused by right sided diverticulosis, inflammatory bowel disease or a growth in the colon. See your physician who will determine whether other testing or referral to a Gastroenterologist is needed after he/she examined you.
