Blood in stool: Blood in stool is a abnormal and must be explained especially since it occurred three times. It may simply be due to hemorrhoids but could be caused by right sided diverticulosis, inflammatory bowel disease or a growth in the colon. See your physician who will determine whether other testing or referral to a Gastroenterologist is needed after he/she examined you.
