He is right: those osteophyte removal are very tricky. First they are there because of some degeneration or precious injury and to some represent a protection reaction of the body. And the most important fact is that survey to remote them is too much of a risk. It can result is more pain than the feeling that you have and that risk is not worth taking. Good luck.
