Is likely normal: May be what is referred to as "white clot, " which means it is composed mainly of platelets and fibrin products, which is seen when a wound is not actively bleeding (which would also trap red blood cells and look like usual "red clot"). In wet environment (like the mouth), can also leech/rinse away the red blood cells leaving white appearance.

Healing: It sounds like normal healing. Your dentist should be happy to do a post - op check on you if you are very worried. But, it sounds like normal healing, from your description.

It sounds fine: An extraction site often has that appearance. As long as the socket is mostly filled and you have no significant pain, it sounds perfectly normal and i wouldn't be concerned.
