Likely inflammatory: The ultrasound findings of small lymph nodes suggest reactive processes, likely in response to parotid gland inflammation. That said, pls check with MD if your constellation of other symptoms are inflammatory or infectious, and if not or if persistent, you may need other tests to rule out other causes of swelling and small nodes. Tests may include Fine needle aspirations and pathology examination.
