Could a hiatal hernia with GERD cause inflammation leading to gastritis? Any correlation between the two?
Endoscopy found some gastritis and small hiatal hernia. Did not mention gerd, Gp said I have reflux, would report say acid or bile reflux if so?
I was just diagnosed by endoscopy with hiatal hernia, GERD, and erosive gastritis. Would any of these cause pain in the left side waist/flank area?
4 months ago upper endoscopy positive for GERD, gastritis, and hiatal hernia. More recently I sometimes have right sided neck/shoulder/collarbone pain after (and infrequently during) eating. Unlikely to be anything insidious or malignant?
After 4 years of 80 mg a day of PPI's for Gerd, Gastritis, Esophagitis, Barrett's - my EGD shows Barrett's progressed to long segment and other conditions still active. I have large hiatal hernia. Should I seek surgical consult? Waiting on pathology?
