Muscle spasms : Straightening of the cervical lordosis can be caused be positioned during X-ray or muscle spasms. The cervical ribs on the other hand may cause pressure on nerves and symptoms. Only a surgeon could do something about that if indeed they were causing symptoms. As for the disc, if symptoms can be traced to the disc, then maybe a surgeon could fix it.
