A member asked:

How necessary is it to take a mri when x ray has been done to see reverse lordosis & possible herniated disc in cervical spine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Different tests: Plain X-rays of the spine only show bones structure, an MRI is needed if you are looking for soft tissue pathology like a herniated disk.
