My cholesterol is 196. how can i lower it before my next lab test.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Exercise, weight: loss, avoid animal fats, and, if these don't help, medications. If you have any other risk factors for heart or vascular disease and depending on LDL cholesterol, your doctor might suggest statins anyway.
