NSAIDS: Aleve (naproxen) and ibuprofen are two drugs in the same class of medicine termed non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication. Generally, they should be taken 4-6 hours apart with a max daily dose of ibuprofen of 2600mg or 1500mg of Aleve (naproxen). A patient with normal kidney and liver function should be ok with the dose you mentioned.
