Lymph node: following an infection, even infections treated successfully with antibiotics, lymph nodes can remain swollen sometimes for a few weeks. Monitor it closely, if it remains painful, increases in size, or does not shrink over some time, please visit with your doctor again for further evaluation.

Ive had 2 swollen nodes since 2015. I began working at a daycare back then and had over 12 recurrent strep throat ever since. I thought the lymph nodes were due to so many strep throats but I havent had any ST since 2/17 and are still there.
