A member asked:

My son is 14 and currently about 6'0 - 6'1 and weighs 165. last year he didn't grow any or gain/lose any weight according to his physical. the year prior he grew 4 inches. should i be worried he didn't grow this past year? does that mean he is done growin

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely done growing.: Some boys start puberty early and complete most of their growth by age 14. Other signs to confirm this would be signs of facial hair and need to shave and genital hair extending to upper thighs and mid-abdomen. Usually there is weight loss or fatigue, cold intolerance, dry skin if he had a health condition that would halt normal growth. He is likely taller than his classmates.
