Probably: Absent family history, absence of alcohol/smoking (including pot)/drug use, and/or chronic irritation from anything sharp, occurrence of oral cancer is rare. To be sure, however, have regular dental check-ups with appropriate x-Rays which includes an oral cancer screening exam. In other words, have a Pro check you regularly.

Very slim: The average age of diagnosis for oral cancer is 62 and 2/3 of patients with oral cancer are over age 50.
