Any other symptoms?: Palpitations are a very common symptom and in the absence of fainting or structural heart disease are usually benign. I recommend an Echocardiogram and a 24 hour holster monitor to rule out structural heart disease and to help elucidate the cause of your symptoms.

VT: Palpitations are usually benign. Some palpitations are VPCs. One definition of VT is three consecutive VPCs. This causes too much anxiety in people as three in a row in otherwise normal folks is generally benign. My school calls 3 in a row group beats because of this. Stop worrying and talk to your Doc, you probably have no reason for anxiety about this.
