Think it Over.: Your description certainly sounds like a bunion to me. Whether or not you have it removed is entirely up to you. The usual reasons include pain, either with or without shoes. Some times the ability to even buy shoes is a problem. Believe it or not, but, people even have them removed because they don't like the way they look. My advice is to have them removed when you are ready and well informed.
