Lesion near toenail: There are a number of skin conditions that can present as a bump or knot near a toenail. Several common ones are warts, which are viral infections, digital myxoid cysts, which are small bluish translucent nodules and pyogenic granulomas. There are other conditions, including some skin cancers that can be located near or under toenails. It would be important to have a dermatologist look at it.
