Sunscreen & Time: Glycol acid facial peels are usually very safe, yet sometimes they can burn the skin. The darker your skin, the more risk you have for scarring and pigmentation after a burn or trauma to your skin. The best thing you can do at this time is to stay out of the sun, wear a high SPF sunblock (SPF 50+) and give it time (several months, even up to one year). Strict sun avoidance and time is KEY!
