Most likely a sub-: -sub pereosteal hematoma. They R hard & tender/painful 2 touch or bump it. Ice initially, after a couple days switch 2 heat, usually go away but often leave a bump much smaller, that may always B there. Not painful but just there. Not a big deal, ,as long as there was no laceration present.
