Need specialist: 6 months without a period is too long. There are many possible causes and you will need more than a pregnancy test and thyroid tests to sort this out. Suggest you schedule with an endocrinologist. PCOS is a common cause of irregular or absent periods, especially if you are overweight. Also might be ovarian failure.
