Id been told that i needed to reach my healthy/regular weight of 145 (from 185) for health reasons (asthma) & i did. thereafter, i tested as anemic. i now have headaches, neck, leg, shoulder & chest pain. i take an iron rx. what tests do i require?

Over age 40, annual routine lab tests include a metabolic panel and screening for diabetes. If you are anemic, a complete blood count and iron panel can be ordered. A thyroid test can also be ordered. Other preventive health screening include mammogram for breast cancer and pap smears for cervical cancer. You may get an EKG and a chest x-ray if you report chest pain/asthma
