What is the best way to deal with insomnia when nothing seems to work, melatonin doesn't help and lotion with chamomile and lavender essential oils didn't help. got only 1-2hrs of sleep maybe. i think stress may have contributed to it. ?

Get checked out: Taking something to help you sleep is never the answer in the long term. You may have nailed it as it may very well be related to stress. Stress management and relaxation would be the way to go. But get a good physical evaluation to make sure you do not have any other problems
